if you want something temporary that washes off everytime you shampoo, u can use John Freida's frizz-ease hair serum, it takes out the frizz and leaves your hair really soft and shiney. it's about $10

You might want to consider getting a perm, they last a couple months and are relatively inexpensive. Or get it thermally straightened, which is more expensive, the starting price is at least 200 dollars. Both methods will make your hair straight, not wavy, but it will be shiny and silky soft.

sunsilk is the best stuff i have ever found. it isnt a chemical but it smooths your hair so well. there is shampoo and conditioner and a leave in cream. they all cost $3 a bottle. i wouldnt bother with shampoo and conditioner, the leave in cream is so good. you just wash your hair and the after you get out of the shower you rub some of it in your hair and let it dry. there are all kind of it. some for frizzy hair/ dry hair/ everything.

use natural....olive oil is very good for hair...and it wil make it shine and soft

well, i ve massacred my hair for quite some time..there are very few chemicals that i havent tried on my locks..and for shiny silky supermodel hair,my choice is loreal extenso..its a very mild hair relaxing treatment when compared to other professional hair straightening treatments such as schwarzkopf and wella.[ cheaper as well] not only does ur hair become silky and soft,it looks naturally straight, rather than the poker straight look which u get from the other treatments
