when it is damp use a frizz free spray and straightening treatment this will help and than you can use a round brush and blow dry it straight. Or if you don't have the time still use the frizz free and straightening treatment and blow dry as normal and when dry use a ceramic straightener I recommend rusk that's the one I have and it is awesome.

You will find it in the black/ethnic section of your drugstore or beauty supply store or you could go to a hair designer that specializes in relaxers. It will relax your waves until your hair grows out, then you retouch the roots of your hair as needed. If your hair is long, you won't need to retouch very often, maybe every three months.
