I have naturally wavy hair - but everytime I try to style it, its either too frizzy, to greasy, or flat. Whats the trick?
Do you use shampoo and conditioner?
Comb or Brush?
How to dry it?
and what products?
How to style wavy hair?
My daughter, my daughter-in-law, and I all have thick, wavy hair and we all use different methods to control the frizzies.
My daughter is a hairdresser, so she has easy access to all the professional products and makes good use of them. She also has professionals at the salon to do her hair for her.
My daughter-in-law can't afford a lot of products, so she dries her hair as straight as possible, using the warm setting, never hot, then uses a huge flat iron and she has beautiful hair.
I have more time, but am really tired of messing with my "mop", so I either dry it, on the warm setting, and straighten it with a large curling iron or roll it on hot rollers. The hot rollers seem to keep the frizzies under control better, even when I just let it air dry.
We all use shampoo and conditioner that is meant to control the frizz and I occasionally use some good old VO 5 (just a dab) to make mine look shinier and healthier.
I've also found that changing products every 6-8 weeks seems to help my hair.
Good luck. You'll find just the right routine and products to achieve what you want. It may just take some experimenting.

I have wavy hair that goes frizzy sometimes. I find shampooing every day, light condition, and then a light styling product helps. Also? I blow dry and use a curling iron to "perfect" the ends.

Spray your hair a little to keep the frizzies out. Then put it in a low bun, with a few small hairs hanging out in the front. Then put a ribbon or headband (Not one that goes all the way around your head)
