yea you can totally tell, if someone's hair is naturally staright it tends to be more frizzy or staticy than some one who has straghtened their hair, my hair is curly/wavy so i would know

Look at their ethnicity, skin and hair color and texture. Dark, coarse, thick hair is naturally curly. Period.

yes. All you haveto do is wet it. I have curly hair and when I straighten it I hope it doesn't rain. Once it gets wet, I'm screwed, it curls up in every direction.

Most of the time some one with naturally curly or wavy hair has hair that is a lot thicker than people with naturaly straight hair. Feel their hair and feel your hair (one strand) if it feels as if it has Knots or bumps on it and a lot thicker than yours then it could very well be naturally curlly.

No. I have wavy hair and when I straighten it, every one thinks that I was born with straight hair.

Obviously, get it wet. When it's dry, check the ends. If it's dry and/or damaged, they're probably straightening it.
