What's the best way to achieve beautiful, wavy hair?

Here's the deal. I have naturally wavy hair. The problem is that when I leave my hair wavy, it looks like I just got out of bed and the waves are not as tight as I want them to be. I'm sick of straightening my hair everyday because it's long and takes up a good chunk of my time and I think it would be easier if I could just leave it wavy, you know, the scrunched up look. Any products or techniques I can use to make my waves look better?

after you shower, towel dry your hair so its not dripping wet. take a palmful of mousse ( i use alberto curl enhancing mousse) and really work it into your hair, scrunching and toussling your fingers through it. put it in a bun and the next morning it should be nice and wavy, and not huge and frizzy. if you want more defined waves you could do the whole mousse thing, but instead of putting your hair in a bun, you could put it in a lose braid.
