My daughter has WAVY hair. Its pretty curly after she gets he hair washed but once it dries it goes practically straight. If her hair happens to stay curly it appears that her curls would be large 1" curls, but he hair is a little less than 2 inches long and it just goes everywhich way. She is bi-racial (American Indian %26amp; Black) so she has that "pretty indian hair" with the black curliness. Please help, I have ran out of ideas. Baby oil just makes her hair greasy and barretts do not work either because of how much volume she has in her hair. Any help would be appreciated.

Use a light hair oil prior to bath. Massage it well. Then leave her for about 10 mins+. Then wash off as usual. Not too much shampoo.Sometimes with just water. This will keep it soft and manageable.
After that comb out her hair. Divide from back into 5 parts. Take each part while still lightly damp and lightly twist it around your fingers. They will stay curled that way. Like locks .
And she will look pretty.

black peoples hair grease ... apply just enough that it is not greasy but pretty... it also helps prevent cradle scalp

Once upon a time, a long long time ago (the '50's); there was a product called Nestle's Baby Curl. My mother used it on me and my curls always looked fresh and cute.

use olive oil in it,,apply it lightly, leave it in and a few hours b4 bath u can load it with olive oil n then wash it out . You can also Try Dabur hair oil http://www.dabur.com/EN/products/Health_...

when the hair becomes longer it will be easier to manage.
