couple things

1) my hair is realllly thick!! if i got a perm BAM i got an afro

2) i've tried gell and it didnt work AT ALL

3)i also triend braiding it it was crazzzy not controllingly

Frizz-Ease by John Frieda Dream Curls. It's really good. You just spray and scrumch.

Or, I did this before and it worked pretty good. Mix water and salt in a bottle and spray it on your hair. It's like the ocean :-)

Try having a shower one night , then put it in tiny buns...4-10 should be good. In the morning take them out it should be wavy

when i do that i just put it up in a high bun right ofter you get out of the shower and sleep with it like that and in the morning mine is usually a natural looking wave but sometimes you have to use gell other wise it might be kinda frizzy....

wash your hair then leave it in a really tight braid over night. if your hair frizzes easily but hair cream after washing your hair, brush out your hair then put it in a tight braid. take the braid out in the morning and voila waves.

You can try to use rag curlers. You twist your hair, while it's damp, Then you either can use scrunchies or strips of old cloth to tie up the twists. You sleep with them in your hair. And hopefully when it comes out it will be what you want. Since your hair is thick, I would suggest doing it earlier than right before bed or else the curls will still be wet. It is also uncomfortable to sleep in. But it works for me. Good luck!
