You can get it chemically straightened and it stays straight for awhile but I heard its worse for ur hair than using a straightening iron

Your hair is reacting to static. If you live somewhere dry, move somewhere that's not so hot (not where it rains a lot, your hair will just get more frizzy when there's lightning). You could also use a special type of shampoo. Don't ask me what type. Good luck!!

hey, try using a shine or sleeking serum (you can get them for fairly cheap at drug stores and department stores..try tresemme) and clip your hair up the top of your head..use a large round brush (the ones that used to get stuck in your hair when your younger lol) and blow dry in sections pulling the hair tight and stright while blowdrying..afterwards you might want to put a bit of hairspray(just a bit so it doesnt look stiff) or freeing spray since you say your hair gets wavy as the day passes...you can always do low-off the side ponytails as the day goes on ..its nice and can be formal as well as casual =)

hope this helps

Hi, I actually read this really good article about six steps to straight hair, you'll find more useful information there I'm sure:

How do i straighten my hair? it gets really frizzy and impossibly wavy as the day passes.?

-Read the book and visit the site below about curly/wavy hair. I did and my once horrible curly hair is now virtually frizz-free ringlets. Now I get compliments on my hair all the time! Straighten your hair- be happy for a day, learn to manage your wavy hair- be happy for life!

- To style your hair using the curly-girl method you will need gel and conditioner at the minimum. Some less useful, but still nice stuff would be a blowdryer, a diffuser, butterfly clips, and a microfiber hair turban.

-The main philosophy of the curly-girl method is to not use shampoo (or a VERY gentle baby shampoo). This may sound unhygenic but it has actually made my hair less oily and dandruffy. Shampoos contain some of the same chemicals found in laundry detergent. They dry out curly/wavy hair.

- Massaging of the scalp with conditioner to remove dirt is all that is needed. Then rinse and spread conditioner on the outside layer of hair and the hair at the nape of your neck. Gently comb tangles out with your fingers or a wide toothed comb and rinse. It is also important to use gel on sopping wet hair and scrunch the hair. Then let your hair air dry or use a blowdryer with a diffuser.

- I really like the garnier fructis products. Aussie products works great too, but there are more conditioners, gels, etc. on the website. Frizz-ease hair serum is amazing for fighting frizz.

- This takes 2 to 4 weeks begin working. This is hard to do if you don't read the book, or at least the website. Hope this helps!
