Get a good boar bristle paddle brush.....Put it in boiling water for 3 seconds and then rub the bristles vigorously with a towel...this helps to soften the bristles and you will love your brush.

im a guy and im growing my hair out long. I just bought a 100% boar bristile brush and the brand is Scunci. I payed 7.99 plus tax for the brush. Its expensive but well worth it.
